We know that many small business owners are overwhelmed by day-to-day tasks that detract from contentment, success, and profitability; worried because they can’t see a path to grow their business; unsure how to prioritize their many dreams and visions; and concerned about missing market opportunities. We understand these challenges and use our expertise to work with you to develop and implement solutions that drive successful business outcomes.
Ensure your project is scoped, launched, and completed on time, on budget, and with best-in-class quality outcomes. We follow best practices established by the global Project Management Institute to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close your projects.
We review existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, then design and implement the revised processes taking into account resource constraints and organizational priorities.
It’s easy to put short-term needs ahead of long-term strategy, and we work closely with you to identify, develop, and implement long-term strategic solutions.
We work with you to identify the best software solution for your needs, and then develop and execute a plan to implement the software throughout your organization.
We help document all your business operations so unexpected absences won’t stop day-to-day operations, inconsistent procedures can be identified and corrected, and new hires have guidelines to follow as they learn new responsibilities.
We get to the root of a problem quickly and efficiently, using proven and time-tested methods. Once we know the problem, we work with you to develop the solution best-suited for your company.

A client asked us to help improve his company’s accounting processes. As is typical with many small businesses, financial management was pushed aside in favor of revenue-generating activities like developing new business and completing current projects. We stepped in and improved invoicing turnaround by 65%+. Moir Ideas developed an easy-to-follow monthly invoicing reminder and check identification system, enabling payments to be attributed to the correct client. Additionally, Moir Ideas took over the client’s bookkeeping, implementing a robust online system, ultimately freeing the business owner to focus on what he does best -- and preventing untold stress and worry at tax time.
A multi-brand/multi-location company wanted to migrate from multiple systems to a single system to manage its financials, inventory, order processing, and customer data. Moir Ideas coordinated the transition and managed the implementation of the software, making sure it happened in an organized manner. We managed the data migration, verified data consistency, developed and documented new/revised processes, created training guides, tested custom programming, and advised on technical support. By handling all of these activities, the client was able to focus on the strategic aspects of the new system instead of getting bogged down in all of the details.
“ In a word, Rachel has made my business much more “business-like.” She has a unique combination of skills and talents, encompassing financial acumen, project management, and creative insight, along with the very valuable commodity of communicating clearly and concisely, in both written and spoken form. Her exceptional abilities to ask the right questions, listen, understand, research, and then synthesize what she has learned into an outline, briefing document or even strategic plan have enabled me to focus my efforts more effectively on engaging with my clients and generating a better final product. ”
“ Rachel has helped us with numerous projects and always delivers excellent results. She is able to quickly analyze our needs, research solutions, and build a project plan that keeps our team focused on the goal and on track. Everyone loves working with her and I tend to hear a sigh of relief when I announce that Rachel will be assisting, or leading, a given project. She is particularly effective in designing and documenting processes and procedures while being mindful of the time and financial concerns that often constrain our small business. ”
“ You should know that you are playing a very positive, instrumental role in our scaling up. Because of you, we are learning how to develop our core values better than we ever could have on our own. With your guidance, we seem to have come to a much better place and the values that we laid out are far more real, usable, and accurate than what we had articulated before. ”
“ Rachel is exceptional. Her thorough, yet efficient approach to managing projects enabled us to launch a new webstore, transition to a new accounting and inventory system, and revamp and communicate our company mission within a 14-month time frame. Few other professionals would have been able to tackle such a variety of projects with the same attention to time, detail, and customer satisfaction as Rachel. Her ability is truly impressive. ”
